Vision had 8 competitors make up part of the England team for the European Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria last month. Although a new look team with lots of people making their first appearance in an England dobok the team did well and have created an exciting platform to launch their challenge at the World Championships in Ireland later this year. This years VTA seminar will be on the 6th May in Crowborough. You can download the entry form here and then return to your instructor.
The seminar is free to members and is a great opportunity to train with different instructors. Last years seminar had 180 participants and covered breaking, sparring, self defence and kicking.
The event was hosted by Mr Steve Lobley who acted as the Master of Ceremonies and ensured the evening ran smoothly. After a brief introduction the awards began with the overall winners of each age category from the 2016 Vision League Competitions. On 5th January 2017 Master Tom Denis conducted a grading in Redhill for Mr Dunn. The grading consisted of various colour belt and black belt patterns from each grade including both 5th degree patterns, one of which is 72 movements. Continue reading Mr Dunn is promoted to 6th degree
At the International Instructor Course in Paris, France Mr Lear completed an excellent black belt test and was successfully promoted to 7th degree Master. The test was conducted by Grandmaster Marano and Grandmaster Lan and tops off an incredible year for Master Lear who recently celebrated 20 years of teaching Taekwon-Do in Crowborough.
