This years VTA seminar will be on the 6th May in Crowborough. You can download the entry form here and then return to your instructor.
The seminar is free to members and is a great opportunity to train with different instructors. Last years seminar had 180 participants and covered breaking, sparring, self defence and kicking.

On the 4th of February 2017, the Vision Taekwon-Do Association held its first Awards Ceremony in the form of a black tie dinner at the Mercure Hotel Tunbridge Wells. The event brought together 82 members of the Vision family to celebrate our individual and collective achievements of 2016.
The event was hosted by Mr Steve Lobley who acted as the Master of Ceremonies and ensured the evening ran smoothly. After a brief introduction the awards began with the overall winners of each age category from the 2016 Vision League Competitions. On the 25th Feb VTA will be hosting it’s Umpire Course. This is open to red belts and above. Please download the Umpire course application and return it to your instructor.

Huge congratulations to Mr Gibb who got married to his beautiful bride Dayna Else last weekend!
Mr Gibb was the former technical director, international instructor and international umpire for VTA. Congratulations to you both from the entire Vision family.
On 5th January 2017 Master Tom Denis conducted a grading in Redhill for Mr Dunn. The grading consisted of various colour belt and black belt patterns from each grade including both 5th degree patterns, one of which is 72 movements. Continue reading Mr Dunn is promoted to 6th degree
The Vision Taekwon-Do Association AGM concluded on 20th November in Tonbridge, Kent, with the acceptance of the new board. A couple of people stepping down with new positions voted in. The new board for the next 3 years are…

The board will work together continuing to increase the profile and development of the Vision Taekwon-Do Association (VTA).
On the 11th October Vision TKD sent a team of 28 competitors, supporters and coaches to the ITF World Cup in Budapest, Hungary. After arriving in Hungary the team made their way straight to the weigh in and registration. It was a long day of travelling so all the competitors were very happy to have made their weight categories without issue. The team then went back to the hotel for dinner, a team meeting and an early night.
On the Wednesday the competition started and it was a full day of patterns. Despite nearly all the team competing it was a tough day with only Mr Arroyo, Thicome Biron-Monnier and Ellena Lobley progressing through a few rounds. Just when the team were starting to look deflated after no medals Mr Arroyo made his way into the 4-6th degree patterns final and secured a silver medal. Continue reading World Cup 2016 Report
