Vision seminar 2017

On the 6th May Vision Taekwon-Do Association held it’s annual seminar in Crowborough, East Sussex. This year was a special celebration as it was 50 years of TKD in the UK and 10 years of the Vision Taekwon-Do Association. As in the previous few years the format was 3 hours of TKD for the kids and 6 hours for the adults plus an extra hour and a half for the black belts. Continue reading Vision seminar 2017

Vision Awards Night

awardsOn the 4th of February 2017, the Vision Taekwon-Do Association held its first Awards Ceremony in the form of a black tie dinner at the Mercure Hotel Tunbridge Wells. The event brought together 82 members of the Vision family to celebrate our individual and collective achievements of 2016.

The event was hosted by Mr Steve Lobley who acted as the Master of Ceremonies and ensured the evening ran smoothly. After a brief introduction the awards began with the overall winners of each age category from the 2016 Vision League Competitions. Mr Gibb got married!

gibbHuge congratulations to Mr Gibb who got married to his beautiful bride  Dayna Else last weekend!

Mr Gibb was the former technical director, international instructor and international umpire for VTA. Congratulations to you both from the entire Vision family.

Master Lear Promotion

learAt the International Instructor Course in Paris, France Mr Lear completed an excellent black belt test and was successfully promoted to 7th degree Master. The test was conducted by Grandmaster Marano and Grandmaster Lan and tops off an incredible year for Master Lear who recently celebrated 20 years of teaching Taekwon-Do in Crowborough.
