Vision awards dinner

 

The Annual Vision Taekwon-Do Awards Ceremony and Black Tie Dinner will be held on Saturday 2nd February 2019. The event is open to all VTA members and their guests.

This event will celebrate all the successes of the association during 2018 and consist of the award ceremony followed by a three course black tie dinner and dancing.  Those who have successfully tested for Dan grades during 2018 will also have their certificates and belts presented.

The cost of the evening will be £40 per person payable to the Vision Taekwon-Do Association through your instructor. However, this fee has already been included for association members who have successfully tested to Dan grades in 2018.

The event will be held at Mercure Hotel Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge Road, Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, TN2 4QL. The ceremony will commence at 17:00 with carriages at midnight. For those wishing to stay over, accommodation is available within the Mecure Hotel at the special event rate of £89 per room (bed & breakfast and use of spa facilities).

VTA EGM and new board members

On Sunday 18th November VTA held an EGM at Ash in Aldershot where a new constitution and by laws were voted in as well as a new board who will serve for a term of 3 and a half years until July 2022. The new board are:

Chairperson: Master K Chesterman
Secretary General: Master P Lear
Treasurer: Mr S Wood
Board Member: Mr L Thompson
Board Member: Mr S Fox Longdon

3 New Committees were also created with the following appointed as Chairperson:

Events Committee: Master P Lear
Ethics & Disciplinary Committee: Master K Chesterman
Publicity & Promotions Committee: Mr S Wood

We wish our new board and new committees all the best for the forthcoming term.

Vision awards dinner 2017

awardsOn the 3rd of February 2018, the Vision Taekwon-Do Association held its annual Awards Ceremony in the form of a black tie dinner at the Mercure Hotel Tunbridge Wells. The event brought together 66 members of the Vision family to celebrate our individual and collective achievements of 2017.
