On the 27th and 28th July the Vision Taekwon-Do Association held it’s Instructor Course in Tonbridge, Kent. The course is held to educate new instructors and assistants and help develop existing instructors. There are many parts of the course including a first aid qualification, BTC code of conduct, health and safety and child protection policies, theories behind and practical implementation of warm ups, stretching and plyometric exercises and the entire VTA colour belt syllabus.
The course ensures that all instructors are DBS checked (formerly the CRB) and registered with the British Taekwon-Do Council as well as maintaining the high standard expected in Vision. Any black belts interested in teaching or assisting should speak to their instructor regarding the next course.
